Son Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi in the Dragon Ball series. Born after Goku's death during the Cell saga, Goten did not meet his father until he was seven years old. Unlike his older brother Gohan, Goten was allowed to train in martial arts from an early age and inherited his father's passion for fighting and food. He bears a striking resemblance to Goku and demonstrates immense potential as a Saiyan-human hybrid. Goten is best friends with Trunks, the son of Vegeta and Bulma. During the Buu Saga, Goten and Trunks fuse to form Gotenks, achieving the powerful Super Saiyan 3 transformation. While positioned as the next generation of heroes in Dragon Ball Z, Goten's strength has evolved over the subsequent decades, though he remains an incredibly powerful fighter.
