Hatchet is a slim white-skinned demon with a draconic snout full of sharp yellow teeth, save for one missing tooth. His eyes have red sclera and yellow irises, and messy red hair frames long horns with two black stripes. Black tattoos cover his arms, and black claws tip his fingers. He wears a black cropped tank top with rips at the hem, torn grey pants held by a black belt with a red skull buckle, and a spiked black collar. His long, clubbed tail is mostly black with red spikes. Little is known of his personality, but he clearly enjoys violence, as seen in his continuous turf wars with Prick and his eagerness for Vox's plan to fill Heaven with rage. Despite this, he joined the Hazbin Hotel staff to contain the Might of Lilith and save Pentagram City.
