After the 18th century Holy War, Libra Dohko retired to the Five Peaks of Mount Lu in China, where he lives as a hermit. He is an elderly man with long white hair and a flowing beard, often seen in a simple Chinese robe. Despite his frail appearance, he is the strongest among the Gold Saints, a fact acknowledged even by Gemini Saga. Dohko is a father figure to Dragon Shiryu, imparting wisdom and discipline. He is also a trusted advisor to Aries Mu and other Saints. In his youth, Dohko was impulsive and hot-blooded, but centuries of solitude and reflection have made him serene and circumspect. When he briefly regained his youthful form during the Hades chapter, he retained that newfound mindfulness.
