Altera is a Servant character in the Fate series, first appearing in Fate/Grand Order and serving as a main character in Fate/EXTELLA. Originally a historical figure who ravaged the European world, she became known as 'God's Punishment' and 'God's Whip' due to the awe her destructive power inspired. Though not of divine blood, she acquired high-ranking Divine Spirit aptitude as a result of this reverence. As a Heroic Spirit, Altera embodies destruction itself, with her sole purpose being to wield her sword for annihilation rather than leaving behind a legacy like other heroes. Over thousands of years, she has undergone significant personal growth and has become increasingly human compared to her original form. Her character is voiced by Mamiko Noto, with character design by huke.
