Candace is a 4-star Hydro Polearm character in Genshin Impact who serves as the steadfast guardian of Aaru Village in Sumeru's desert. She is a descendant of King Deshret, blessed by the gods and tasked with protecting her community. As an important pillar of the village, she is welcoming to travelers but deeply protective and does not hesitate to deal with those who violate the village's rules. In gameplay, Candace functions primarily as a Hydro enabler and support character. Her Elemental Burst is her most important ability, infusing the on-field character's Normal and Charged Attacks with Hydro while buffing their Elemental damage based on her HP. She works best supporting Normal Attack damage dealers and is particularly effective in teams with characters like Nilou, Arlecchino, and Yoimiya. She can also serve as an on-field driver in Bloom teams or take the field herself to utilize her own Hydro infusion.
