Fuecoco is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX as the Fire starter in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This crocodile-like creature is laid-back and marches to the beat of its own drum. It loves to eat, sprinting toward food with a glint in its eye, and absorbs external heat through square scales on its stomach and back to convert into fire energy. Flickering flames atop its head leak fire energy from its body, spouting more when excited. It evolves into Crocalor at level 16, then Skeledirge at level 36.
