Hoppip is a small, round, pinkish-purple Pokemon with a white puff on top that catches wind to float. It is a Grass/Flying type, weak to Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug moves. Hoppip travels in groups, holding onto each other with tiny feet to avoid being blown away by strong winds. In gentle breezes, it drifts high but panics and cries during storms. Exposed to sunlight, its body turns faint pink; cold makes it blue. It evolves into Skiploom at level 18, then Jumpluff at level 27. Abilities include Chlorophyll for speed boosts in sun and Leaf Guard against status in harsh sunlight.
