Cursed into an imp by the usurper Zant, she allies with Link to reclaim her throne and restore her realm. Her true form is regal and beautiful, revealed after absorbing light spirits' power from Zelda. Initially cynical and sharp-tongued, she grows devoted and kind-hearted through her adventures, forming a deep bond with Link. Possessing powerful shadow magic, she can warp space and command energy attacks.
