Oguri Cap is an anthropomorphized character from the Umamusume: Pretty Derby franchise, based on the real racehorse of the same name. She is depicted as an introverted, gray-haired girl with a large appetite who is frequently seen eating comically large portions of food. Known for her eccentric behavior at school, including talking in her sleep during class and lowering shutters to frighten classmates, Oguri Cap is characterized by her distinctive 'monstrous' running style with her torso nearly fully horizontal. Despite her simple-minded demeanor, she is an exceptionally talented racer who overwhelms other Uma Musumes in competitions. Her real-life counterpart was a legendary racehorse known as the 'Gray-Haired Monster' who won numerous stakes races and was named Japanese Horse of the Year in 1990. Oguri Cap's character has been featured in the Umamusume anime, games, and the spin-off manga series Uma Musume Cinderella Gray.
