Purah is a Sheikah researcher and Hyrule's foremost authority on ancient relics and technology. She is the older sister of Impa and the oldest Sheikah alive. Originally a child prodigy who worked at the Royal Ancient Lab, Purah conducted experiments with an anti-aging Rune that caused her to revert to the body of a 6-year-old. Frustrated by how others treated her as a child, she reversed the aging process and returned to the age of 20. She serves as director of the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab and founder of Lookout Landing, where she leads the Zonai Survey Team. Purah has collaborated with Robbie to create the Purah Pad and has worked extensively with Princess Zelda researching the Zonai civilization and investigating the outbreak of gloom. Despite her centuries of life and research, she remains humble about the limits of her knowledge.
