Rauru is the first King of Hyrule and one of the last remaining Zonai in the kingdom. As a member of an ancient race whose ancestors descended from the heavens, Rauru founded Hyrule and married Queen Sonia. He serves as the Sage of Light and plays a crucial role in the battle against Demon King Ganondorf. Despite their combined efforts with the Six Sages, Rauru and his allies are defeated, leading him to make the ultimate sacrifice by sealing Ganondorf away using his powers of Light. Thousands of years later, his spirit persists, and his arm becomes instrumental in helping Link throughout Tears of the Kingdom, serving as the conduit for ancient magical powers and ultimately saving Link from destruction.
