Rayquaza is a Dragon/Flying-type Legendary Pokémon known as the Sky High Pokémon. It dwells in the ozone layer and serves as a protector of the planet's atmosphere. Rayquaza has quelled epic battles between Groudon and Kyogre by Mega Evolving into its powerful form. It possesses the Air Lock ability, which nullifies weather effects. In various games, it acts as a formidable boss, such as at the top of Sky Tower where it destroys threatening meteors, or in ruins where it rages against disturbances with Draco Meteor before returning to the skies. Standing 7 meters tall and weighing 206.5 kg, Rayquaza is a Level 200 challenge in some encounters, transforming into Mega Rayquaza upon defeat.
