Sable Able is a hedgehog in the Animal Crossing series who co-owns the Able Sisters tailor shop with her younger sister, Mabel. In contrast to Mabel's energetic and talkative nature, Sable is shy and quiet, preferring to work at the sewing machine in the back of the shop. She appears slightly miffed when first spoken to, but if you visit her daily, she will gradually warm up and share stories with you. Sable is responsible for the tailoring and sewing work of the shop, while her sister Mabel handles customer interactions. Despite their contrasting personalities, the two sisters work well together, with Sable's quiet craftsmanship complementing Mabel's cheerful customer service. She raised her younger sister Mabel when they were younger.
