Starfire, whose real name is Koriand'r, is a Tamaranean princess from the planet Tamaran. Captured and tortured by the Citadel, she escaped to Earth after being sold into slavery by her sister Blackfire. Joining the Teen Titans, she became a key member known for her flight, super strength, and ability to emit starbolts from her hands. Starfire is characterized by her bubbly, affectionate nature, often expressing emotions openly and valuing friendship deeply. Co-created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, she debuted in Teen Titans #18 in 1980 and has appeared in numerous DC Comics stories, animated series, and live-action adaptations.
