Tamamo no Mae is a nine-tailed fox spirit who appears as a Lancer-class Servant in her swimsuit form. Originally a legendary figure from Japanese folklore, she was a beautiful woman who caught the eye of Emperor Toba but was revealed to be a yoho (supernatural being) by Abe no Seimei. Despite her attempts to bring wealth and glory to those she loved, she was rejected for not being human and eventually met a tragic end at the hands of a subjugation army. In her swimsuit incarnation, she uses a parasol as a spear and possesses high agility and magical power, though she has forgotten much of her normal magical abilities. Her compatibility with bow-wielding Servants is extremely poor due to her historical death by arrows. Despite her tragic past, this version of Tamamo displays a more playful demeanor, enjoying beach activities while maintaining her characteristic charm and combat prowess.
