Tieria Erde is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, serving as a Gundam Meister and pilot of the Gundam Berche, an MS dedicated to artillery fire. Originally created as a substitute for Regene Regetta among the Innovates, Tieria was repurposed as a Gundam Meister. Possessing a calm and intelligent personality with excellent shooting abilities, Tieria specializes in long-distance combat and pouring firepower into multiple targets, contrasting with Lockon Stratos's precision sniper approach. Despite typical cool-headedness, Tieria displays unexpected belligerence in battle, sometimes engaging in rough close combat. The character's name derives from Teiaiel, an angel governing the future, combined with Erde, meaning Earth in German. Tieria ultimately self-destructed along with the Raphael Gundam during the series' climactic events.
